skirt: talbots, wedges: goodwill, oxford: old from costco, tote: vera bradley, belt: talbots, bracelets: alex and ani, tallulah’s
This skirt is turning into my new favorite. I got it about a month ago from Talbot’s and can’t even remember how many times I’ve warn it. It was love at first sight and there was no going back with it. This skirt has been part of a wardrobe overhaul for me. I’m consciously altering my purchasing habits, trying to fill my closet with long-lasting favorites rather than seasonal fill-ins. The result is a lot of blue, white, black, pink, and a whole lot of stripes. These are my timeless comfort zone that I am drawn to time and again. Case in point? The white blouse I’m wearing in these photos I got in college, easily ten years ago. I wore it to class multiple times a week, took it to Brussels for my internship, wore it in Columbus often at my retail job and at the library. It served me well in Cyprus and even now, is one of my favorites. It is made well and shows minimal wear even after all of its adventures. That is what I want filling my wardrobe.
